Boat Trailer Tires: Shelf-Life
Just got my USCG Auxiliary Safety Inspection/Sticker the other day. While going over the trailer and checking things over, I noticed that the tires have visual deterioration signs (e.g., cracking/dry rot). Those tires have been on since I purchased it in late 2004 and I've basically gotten 5 years of use out of them.
My question is how long do they typically last?
