With a break from the flea markets and a nice day to go river fishing ,headed to the Acme to pick up some frozen shrimp.then over to My favorite catfishing spot from land on Big Timber creek,since the Catfish 2 is not in the water yet. Well the action was fast and furious for 3 hrs. Caught over a dozen nice fish,lost 6 fish. Biggest fish was about 10 lbs several cats to that were about 5lbs. I was trying out differnt leader lenght from 36inches to 24 inches ,did not seem to matter. Rigs I was using was a fishinder with a 3oz wight,leaders of differnt lenghts and a 5/0 Gamakatsu circle hook ,which is now required since the stripers are in the river.
