Its cost less to buy a rod , Than to make one. Does anyone disagree with
this statement ?

It depends on what make blank you use If you get a off brand then you can make it cheaper but I still like to make my own and get pleasure catching fish on a rod that I built

Depends what you get. If your purchasing a St. Croix or G Loomis. You could get a custom rod built for less. I recently bought a custom rod for cod fishing cost me $200.00. See below:
