Rather than drive all the way down the shore, I splashed the boat in the Delaware River at the West Deptford boat ramp. Wind wasn't bad when I dropped it into the water, but after that, it was downhill all day. No fish either; just a rough boat ride down past the Commodore Barry Bridge. This is the earliest I've ever gotten the boat in the water, so I guess that's a positive.
